The Galicia Jewish Museum was established to pay tribute to all victims of the Holocaust and to cultivate the Jewish culture of Polish Galicia

The purpose of the Galicia Jewish Museum is to honor the victims of the Holocaust and to cultivate the Jewish heritage of Galicia. Permanent exhibition "Traces of memory" on the result of twelve years of artistic work. It is to commemorate 800 years of Jewish culture in Poland. Over 140 photos preserved by the founder of the museum showing the traces of Jews in Poland, that is, the traces of the future of Galicia. Also a sales exhibition of the culture of destroying culture during the Second World War.

"Foundation Museum" by Chris Schwarz, whose British photos are related to Jewish photography in Poland. Chris Schwarz was the director of the museum until his death in 2007.

The site houses related and temporary exhibitions, as well as a coffee shop. In addition, concerts, meetings with authors, lectures and workshops were organized there. The museum also has a bookstore where you can access Jewish book life and culture as well as the Holocaust and about Jewish philosophy, identity and literature.
